The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, May 30 features the walls nearly closing in on several key players. Claire felt the heat, Jen was taken downtown, and Eve almost became a hero!
Under Arrest
Tripp (Lucas Adams) was caught between a rock and a hard place with Jack (Matthew Ashford). It looked like he was caught with no way out but thankfully, a friendly face intervened. Jen (Melissa Reeves) knocked Jack out cold, threw the documents at Tripp, and told him to make a run for it!
Unfortunately, they were not alone in the park. Xander saw the whole thing and immediately took Jack’s side. The pair citizens arrested Jen and hauled her downtown.
You’re My Hero!
Tripp made it to the cabin in record time and the trio began working on new plans. They have to finish the passports, get on the road, and get across the border before it’s too late.
A Gentle Talk
Back in Salem, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) stopped in to see her niece but the meeting did not go as planned. She gave her the salvaged figuring, told her she would support her through this tough time, but things fell apart when she brought up Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) getting professional help.
Locked Memories
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) turned up at Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) and begged her for help. He asked to be hypnotized and she obliged.

However, nothing he remembered or said was particularly helpful. In fact, it may even hurt his case. He remembered leaving the cabin to get his meds and coming back to the fire. But, he had no idea who set the blaze.
From Bad to Good?
Meanwhile, John (Drake Hogestyn) pushed Eve (Kassie DePaiva) to give up the location of Rolf’s journal. Eve swore up and down she had no idea where the book was but John did not believe her. He told her how dire Will’s situation was and begged her to help his family. Eve can be heartless but even this is too much.
Eve despises many people but Will is not one of them. The second she ran into Xander she demanded the diary back.
