The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, May 27, 2020, features Ciara rushing to the altar, Lani getting two big surprises, Gabi begging for help, and Abigail saying goodbye.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Abby (Kate Mansi) finally got to go home but it was not for long. She was there to pack her bags and say goodbye to her family before heading off to treatment. Poor little Thomas was beside himself knowing his parents were going away but Grandma and Grandpa stepped in to make it all better. There were lots of kisses, hugs, and tears as Abby and Chad took their leave.
A Rushing Bride
Meanwhile, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was planning her wedding at lightning speed. She already had the Save The Date cards ready, much to Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) surprise. He thought they’d have a small wedding. No sir, not when you’re marrying a Brady/Kiriakis/Horton hybrid.
The first guests invited were Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers). They showed up to question Ben about Gabi’s (Camila Banus) assault on Jake (Brandon Barash) but got blindsided by that news instead.

Marry Me! I’m Pregnant!
It didn’t take long for Eli to get all up in his feelings and decide to move forward too. He took Lani (Sal Stowers) to the park and asked her to be his bride. This time, with a complete ceremony. She said yes!
That was not the only surprise for the cops. Lani checked her phone to set a date and realized she missed a very important one. She was “late.” Could there be a new Elani baby on the way?
It’s All A Setup
As for Gabi, she had a rough day at the station. To his credit, Rafe stood by her side before and it came back to bite him. However, this time she wasn’t lying. She was set up and convinced Rolf (William Utay) was the one drugging Abby. He did point her towards the serum, after all.
Who Am I?
Over at the garage, Jake was happy to accept Ben’s invite to the wedding. He was not so happy to talk about Gabi, the serum, or his own questions about his past. Gabi’s claims were getting to him. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
