Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, August 8, 2019, featured a strange a very strange day in Salem. Everything looks different in the harsh light of day. Gabi worked on erasing Stefan from her life, Rex went off the rails, and Brady felt there was something odd about Nicole.
I’m Number One
Gabi (Camila Banus) worked on putting out a press release about her new power. Unfortunately, visions of Stefan (Brandon Barash) danced in her head. She found herself torn between power and prestige and hot passion.
Her life took a twist when Rafe (Galen Gearing) showed up to spill the news about Stefan. The arrest, the setup, and all the brash suspicions caused her to have second thoughts about leaving. When Stefan came home, Gabi was relieved, but he wasn’t. Stefan was out for revenge.
A Shocking Find
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) brought each other up to speed. Ted’s death was taking its toll on Hope and she welcomed the listening ear. They chatted about all the strange occurrences, including seeing the weird woman drop her money. That odd ordeal got Hope thinking and she went back to the park, scanned the trash, and found the diamond necklace!

I’m Outta Here!
Rex (Kyle Lowder) had it out with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) over her daughter and realized everyone knew what he refused to see. His wife was always in love with his brother. His temper flared, especially when Maggie told him Sarah never came home.
Meanwhile, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) woke up and basked in each other’s glow. However, their joy would not last long. Before they knew it, Rex stormed through the door and went up one side of them and down the other. He then went to the hospital, quit his job, and announced he was leaving town!
Kricole Tuned Brady Upside Down
Some strange things were happening to Brady (Eric Martsolf). He was in bed with “Nicole” (Arianne Zucker) but all he could think about was Kristen. In fact, he was obsessing over his scandalous ex.
