Most folks on Days Of Our Lives spend the bulk of their lives with the wrong partner while pining for who they believe is the right one.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is no exception. She divorced husband Rex (Kyle Lowder) for Eric (Greg Vaughan)… who dumped her the moment the love of his life, Nicole (Arianne Zucker), returned from the dead. Hey, it happens. A lot.
Now Sarah is pregnant and Xander (Paul Telfer) first wanted to alert Eric — to keep Sarah from leaving town — then changed his mind and tried to convince Nicole to keep mum, too.
Why didn’t Xander want Sarah leaving town? Because he’s in love with her. Is Sarah in love with Xander? No, she is not. But should that change? What over 13,000 fans want to see happen:

Of course, 89% cheer. Xander and Sarah are super hot together! He becomes more human around her, and she becomes a little less neurotic around him. Seriously, it’s a match made in heaven.
Let Eric playhouse with Nicole and Holly. Xander would be more than happy to step up and play Daddy for Sarah’s baby. If it’s a boy, do we think she’ll name him after beloved adopted dad, Mickey? Mickey raised Sarah knowing she wasn’t his, and Xander could do the same. He had crappy parents. We’re sure he’ll work hard to do better.
Keep ‘Em Apart
Have we forgotten the part where Xander is a kidnapper and all-around scum, 11% of Days of Our Lives fans wonder? He forced Nicole to marry him. He kept her from Holly. He is Kristen’s (Stacey Haiduk) hatchet man. That makes him a bad man. And Sarah doesn’t need that.
She’s better off as a single parent. Or with Eric. He won’t be able to stay away from his own child once he knows the truth. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
