Sarah is moping around Days Of Our Lives, feeling noble for not telling Eric that she’s carrying his child in order to facilitate Eric’s reunion with the love of his life, Nicole.
She confided in Xander (Paul Telfer) and even considered an abortion before changing her mind at the last minute… and inadvertently, thanks to Kristen (Stacey Haiduck). She even denied the pregnancy to Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and distracted her with the old, Kristen says she’s pregnant with Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) baby trick!

It’s Rex (Kyle Lowder), 67% of you seem strangely determined. After all the drama with Eric, first Sarah giving him up, then Eric agonizing over ‘doing the right thing’ followed by Nicole wanting to get in on the noble action and pushing Eric toward the woman carrying his child. (Where? In what? A Snuggli?)

A great twist would be if the tot turns out to be a Rex Junior. Kind of like Rex turned out to be the daddy to Emily after Bonnie had convinced Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) he was the pop. Now it’s time for his other brother, Eric, to get the same treatment. Kate (Lauren Koslow) as grandma is just a bonus.
Deeper Drama
The story would be better with Eric as the dad, a smaller 33% of Days of Our Lives fans begs to differ. Rex is off the canvas and was anyone invested in his marriage to Sarah — or with his baby mama, Mimi (Farrah Fath).
Eric and Nicole are in Salem, it’s where the suffering should be taking place. Plus, Rex is practically collecting babies at this point. A child of his own would actually mean something to Eric. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
