Camila Banus has announced that she will be leaving the role of Gabi on Days of our Lives. But her character is pretty vital in Salem. What should happen once she departs? Over 5,000 fans have some pretty strong feelings on the subject:

We already know that Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Chandler Massey) are on their way out of town. Since the three of them co-parent Ari, wouldn’t it be for the little girl’s benefit if Mommy moved to wherever her daddies are planning to live?
For a family-minded 60% of you, this is the only logical course of action. Gabi has burned all her bridges in Salem. She needs a fresh start. Might as well do it with Ari, who loves her. And Sonny and Will — who always do their best to, at least, tolerate her.

Recast Road
No one is irreplaceable, 30% of the audience reminds. If DAYS could recast Roman (Wayne Northrup to Josh Taylor, not counting Drake Hogysten, who turned out to be John), Kate (Deborah Adair to Lauren Koslow), Abigail (Kate Mansi and Marci Miller – and back again), Kristen (Eileen Davidson to Stacy Haiduk), and Will (Guy Wilson played the role in between Massey), they can certainly recast Gabi.
Dead Diva
Only 10% voted for killing off Gabi, figuring no one but Banus can bring the same combo of spite, fire, vulnerability, snark, and sexpot into a single role. Gabi started off as a doormat, moved into the victim category, then got in touch with her inner bad girl and really took off, while still remaining a fashion designer and mom.
