One of Days of our Lives’ many, many time jump secrets is finally out! Eric (Greg Vaughan) — not Xander (Paul Telfer) — is the father of Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) daughter, Mackenzie, AKA the next Mickey Horton.
But is that the only big reveal on the horizon about the tot? What almost 6,000 viewers are expecting:
The Next Big Thing
It’s not even close, as 89% of Days of our Lives fans are convinced this secret came out too quickly — which means something even bigger is brewing. We’re bound to spend a few months listening to Eric rage at Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Sarah about keeping his daughter from him, demanding visitation, and maybe even custody. Sarah might wed Xander to make him Mickey’s legal father. Much angst will ensue.
And then we’ll be hit with the real whopper. What if Mickey is actually Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) presumed dead daughter? We’ve heard references to the terrible night when Mickey was born.

What if some switching went on? We don’t know who. We don’t know why. But linear, logical storytelling has never been a DAYS thing. (Remember all those people who died… who ended up alive on a backwards island? Yeah, after that, it’s some serious anything goes.)
Eric slept with Nicole when she was still living with Brady. It would be poetic justice if Brady ended up claiming the baby girl Eric will likely spend months foaming at the mouth over.
Let It Go
Only 11% think — hope — this is the end of the Mickey mystery. So she’s Eric’s daughter. Fine. Can we move on now? Eric and Sarah can be a couple, or it can be Sarah and Xander. Really, you are very clear about not caring.
Send Mickey to that attic where all children — Ari, David, Thomas, Charlotte — hang out, waiting to be old enough for a story of their own. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
