The course of true love never did run smoothly… especially on Days of our Lives. Will (Chandler Massey) just served husband Sonny (Freddie Smith) with divorce papers.

Will is also serving a multi-year stretch in prison for having killed Sonny’s mom, Adrienne (Judi Evans), in a “don’t text and drive” public service announcement. That does throw a monkey wrench into the happily ever after part of the fairytale. Even if Will didn’t kill her. But are fans on board for this unhappy ending? We heard from almost 2,000 voters:
End Of the Road
A majority 86% of the audience still believes that Will and Sonny are endgame. Which means a breakup is out of the question. They are perfect for each other. Even if they have both cheated on each other.

Eh, it’s Salem. This is a couple for the ages. Like Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso). Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Roman (Josh Taylor) and Marlena (Deidre Hall). OK, maybe not exactly like them. But you know what we mean. These two actually are going to make it!
Better Than Best
A small but vocal 12% of you, on the other hand, believe that Will can do much better than Sonny. Sonny barely waited for the divorce papers’ ink to dry before he was smooching on Evan (Brock Kelly). And, sure, Evan is hot. And cool. And nice. And good with kids. But you’re sure that, deep down, he is totally rotten. And if Sonny can’t see that as well as you all can, well, like we said, move on, Will!
Even Sonny
Only 2% prefer Sonny with Evan. First, there’s the whole he’s not in prison part. Then there’s the fact that he — so far — seems to whine less. And Evan appears to be a grown-up in the same way Will feels like a perennial child. Maybe Evan can babysit him. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
