Last week on Days of our Lives ostensibly made it crystal clear — Sarah’s baby died and Victor and Xander replaced her with Kristen and Brady’s little pink bundle of joy. But is that all there is to this story?

Almost 3,000 fans told us whether they bought Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) version of events.

Days of our Lives: Believe Your Own Eyes

How much evidence do you need, 66% of the audience wonders? Of course Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) baby — the real Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton — is dead. We saw the doctor try to restart her little heart, and she failed.

Then Victor (John Aniston) admitted to paying off the ethics-challenged MD, and Xander (Paul Telfer) brought Sarah “their” daughter. Hey, cool, they were both equally not the parents!

And, in true soap fashion, now that Mickey needs the inevitable bone marrow transplant, it’s only a matter of time before “Rachel Isabella” is returned to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady (Eric Martsolf).

What do you think? Post a comment!

Sarah will weep… Xander will be there for her… Eric (Greg Vaughan) will no longer be in the picture… Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will be there for him… Yeah, this will all work out only with Sarah’s baby being truly dead.

Third Option

A slightly smaller 34% of Days of our Lives fans, however, remember that there was a THIRD baby born that night. It’s why Kristen’s doctor had to be somewhere else. So what if the switch is more complicated?

What if ethically-challenged doctor pulled another switch-a-roo for… reasons. What if Sarah’s baby is alive, but also with another mother? Maybe this doctor goes for the highest bidder.

Brady and Kristen will get Rachel Isabella back (and hopefully not call her Belle, since Brady’s sister already has that nickname), and Sarah will be reunited with the real Mickey! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
