When Days of our Lives jumped the span of a year over a weekend, viewers learned that Adrienne had died in the hit and run that Will took the blame for, which Maggie really caused, which we now know was actually a car driven by Orpheus. Got all that?
Days of our Lives Polling
But viewers don’t care about the specific details. They want to know whether Justin (Wally Kurth) is really planning to move in with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). And whether that means Adrienne (Judi Evans) is truly gone for good. What over 2,000 fans hope is the truth at the bottom of this story:
Bring ‘Em Back Alive
A majority 63% aren’t buying this whole she’s dead and buried in the spot where Justin proposed to Kayla. You figure if Maggie isn’t the person who killed Adrienne, then maybe Adrienne isn’t the person who died.

It’s Salem, for Pete’s sake! Gabi (Camila Banus) is convinced Jake is Stefan (Brandon Barash)! So if Rolf (Will Utay) could make off with him – maybe – why couldn’t Orpheus (George DelHoya) have done something with Adrienne?
Losing Faith — And Hope
While a smaller 23% would love to see Adrienne return, you’re starting to suspect it’s just not in the cards. The writers seem determined to set up a Justin/Kayla/Steve (Stephen Nichols)/Hope (Kristian Alfonso) quad, and Adrienne doesn’t seem to have a place in it. Because you know that, unlike Kayla, if Justin’s true love came back, he’d drop Kayla in a hot second and reunite with Adrienne.
Over and Done
And then there’s the last place 14% of the audience which has washed its hands and moved on. Adrienne is dead. Unlike both her brothers, she isn’t coming back from the dead (anymore, that is). You’ve been toyed with enough already. You don’t need more heartache. Or false hope. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
