On June 15, Days of our Lives star Greg Vaughan celebrated his 47th birthday surrounded by his loved ones—his three boys, fiancée Angie Harmon, and her three girls, who the couple affectionately refers to on social media as a modern-day Brady Bunch.

“Life is a journey… the journey is what brings us happiness.. not the destination! Even though it was pretty cool,” Vaughan wrote on his Instagram page, posting photos of the extended family. “I am blessed to be loved and embraced by such amazing hearts & souls! To see & go through such an unknown time, highs, lows, games, movies, adventures, holidays, bdays, homeschooling, tears & laughter…this modern-day Brady bunch did it!!! WE SURVIVED! WE became a FAMILY!”
The actor posted a series of photos of the clan, enjoying time together on the water fishing, kayaking, and water tubing. He also included a romantic shot of himself and the Rizzoli & Isles star, lovingly staring into one another’s eyes over a picnic lunch.
“I KNOW AM TRULY LOVED which is more precious than GOLD!!!” Vaughan wrote. “Road to becoming 47 is one to remember!”

The couple’s romance is fitting of a daytime story of its own. Vaughan and Harmon grew up in the Dallas area not too far from one another. They both started modeling at a young age and met not in Texas but on a modeling assignment in Italy, though they never dated till much later in life.
When they reconnected, Vaughan was a single dad raising sons Jathan James, Cavan Thomas, and Landan Reid, while Harmon was a single mom raising Finley Faith, Avery Grace, and Emery Hope. After a couple of years of dating, the two became engaged this past Christmas.
The fact that he plays a Brady on DAYS has not gone unnoticed by Vaughan or his fans, and he often jokes about his real-life “Brady Bunch.” Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
