While Days of our Lives fans were thrilled to see Nadia Bjorlin bring Chloe back to their screens this week, one person close to the actress had a less-than-enthused reaction.

Bjorlin, who celebrated her birthday earlier this month, tweeted that her son Torin noticed her on TV but didn’t share in the excitement of Chloe’s return.
“I’ve got Days of our Lives on, and my 4-year-old points to the TV and says ‘Look, it’s mama!’” the actress Tweeted. “I proudly asked him if he wanted to watch mama on TV, & he replied, ‘Nah…. can I watch YouTube?’”
Kids! YouTube has essentially replaced normal TV viewing for most kids in 2020, so his reaction is not that surprising. And Bjorlin can take comfort in the fact that with 20-plus years of appearing on the show, there are thousands of classic DAYS episodes and scenes she’s in that her son can watch on YouTube.
And he can also check out his mom in guest spots on 2 Broke Girls, Anger Management, and Two & a Half Men, so maybe by watching YouTube, he’ll still be watching his mom and not funny memes.

For the rest of us, Chloe’s return to DAYS has been long wished for since Bjorlin exited last August. At the time, Chloe was running Doug’s Place with Julie and she dabbled in a romance with Lucas Horton until he departed for Europe.
And since Chloe’s life has never been short on drama and excitement, she also was facing threats from a Mexican drug syndicate due to killing Mateo after he kidnapped her. Stefan was there to protect her when his men wanted payback and they enjoyed a cute flirtation for a bit.
The character left for New York when a singing opportunity came along, and that’s where Hope and company found her this week as they were searching for Ben, who they (rightly) believe Eve (Kassie DePaiva) has kidnapped.
Word is out that Chloe is going to be returning to Salem full-time when the show begins production again. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
