Despite Chad and Abby throwing a wedding together in record Days of Our Lives time, Abby will manage to be wearing something for the occasion that actress Kate Mansi absolutely loves. However, it’s also quite untraditional.
In fact, the actress loved it so much, she took to social media to let us all know that she thought of walking off with it should she ever need to find herself in the same situation in real life.
“If I ever get real life married, this baby is goin’ down with me. (My New Yorker tote is prolly coming too let’s be honest) Thanks for helping me create the wedding ‘dress’ of my dreams Richard!!”
The Richard she refers to is Richard Bloore, the Daytime Emmy-winning head of the wardrobe department at DAYS. Bloore is beloved by actresses for almost always taking into account how they feel about their outfits and making them feel extra special in whatever they wear.
The wardrobe worked out perfectly for Mansi, seeing as this is going to be Abby’s last wedding for the foreseeable future since both she and Billy Flynn (Chad) are leaving the show after the couple says “I do” on Thursday.
The ceremony will be an intimate affair for Abby and Chad’s loved ones and someone very special will perform the ceremony.

That person is none other than Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), the only family member who believed Abby when Gabi (Camila Banus) was gaslighting her into believing her alters had returned.
It’s fitting as the couple’s biggest champion that Julie would be the one to legally bind them. It will be a bittersweet moment for fans, who finally have “Chabby” exactly how they want them — happily married.
