Earlier this year, Days of Our Lives star Kate Mansi lost her beloved grandfather and now she’s experienced another shocking loss so many of us understand.
Mansi’s grandmother has now passed away and she took to social media with a stunning pic of her grandparent in younger years showing her strength in a pose that reminds us of snaps Mansi has posted of herself.
“Every minute with you as my Grandmother was a blessing Honey. “And may I say, not in a shy way… you did it YOUR way,” the actress wrote on Instagram.
Mansi’s DAYS co-stars, including Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Chrishell Hartley (Jordan), Tamara Braun (ex-Ava), and Lauren Koslow (Kate) sent their condolences on Twitter.

Just last month, Mansi shared a tribute to her grandfather, who she called “Pappa”. She also shared several pictures of him, just as she did with her grandmother.
“Celebrating my Grandfather. He was an exceptional equestrian, a man of integrity, and prioritized his family above all else. He climbed Mt. Whitney annually and standing where he stood has been one of the greatest accomplishments in my life thus far.”
