COVID-19 and social-distancing have prompted NBC to get creative with its annual Day of DAYS fan event in which fans from all over the world come to Universal Citywalk in Universal City, Calif. to meet Days of Our Lives cast members.
2020 Days of Our Lives Fan Event
The good news is the yearly gala isn’t being canceled but will go on as a virtual event that you can attend from the comfort of your own home!
Eric Martsolf, a fan favorite and a Daytime Emmy winner for his role as Brady Black, updated fans on how to attend this year’s Day of DAYS via an Instagram post.
He wrote: “DOOL fans….Event Details When: Launches on Saturday, Nov 21 7am PST/10am EST Where: Day of DAYS 2020. Additional Info: Completely free of cost for the fans. Anyone with access to the internet can join. Official DOOL handles: @NBCDays (IG, Twitter), @DaysofourLives (Facebook).”

Cast members Deidre Hall (Marlena), Marci Miller (Abby), and Martha Madison (Belle) all posted social media videos to let fans know about the big day. “Quick reminder to join us for the virtual Day of Days!!” Hall posted along with a video of herself and Miller shot in the show’s makeup room. “It’s free for everyone—all you need is an internet connection! Go to: DayofDAYS2020 or more information! @nbcdays @_marcimiller_.”
“Days fans!!!” Madison tweeted. “Join us for #DayOfDays starting SATURDAY! Just log into DayOfDays2020 to see all your favs! It’s totally FREE and totally SAFE! See you there! 😘⏳#Days @nbcdays.
In her video, shot in her dressing room, Madison said, “Hey, everyone, it’s Martha…we are celebrating 55 years — 55 years of Days of Our Lives. I know it’s crazy! We’re doing it by having a completely virtual Day of DAYS event this Saturday. It’s completely free and you’re going to see your faves. We are super excited that you will be there. Check it out at Day of DAYS 2020.”
