The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for February 14 has love blossoming all over Salem, even as many worry that it won’t last.

Odds and Ends
Even near death, Steve (Stephen Nichols) managed to remember it was Valentine’s Day. Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) dropped in to visit Steve. After they left, Steve said he’d wanted to take her to Green Mountain lodge but Kayla said wherever he is, is where she wants to be.

Kayla told Steve that their daughter wants to visit and he realized how worried they are about him. As Steve drifted off to sleep, Kayla’s worry was written all over her face. She crawled into bed next to him and laid her head by his.

Second Thoughts?
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) almost caught Brady (Eric Martsolf) on the phone with Victor. Tate arrived and said he missed his mommy. Eve helped Brady navigate his questions, and was extremely grateful for her help. Later, Victor sent a text and it was obvious that Brady’s becoming torn.

Hope and Rafe ran into Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Tripp (Lucas Adams). Hope asked Ciara to do wedding stuff the next day but she was busy. As Hope and Rafe prepared for their marriage, Ciara showed Tripp her motorcycle and offered him a ride. He got on and she told him to get ready for the ride of his life.

Clear the Air
Eric (Greg Vaughan) was disappointed to hear Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) was seeing Dr. Shaw after dropping her donuts off for Julie’s club. Later, he joined Roman (Josh Taylor) and Anna (Leann Hunley) and they realized she’s the reason Jennifer thinks he still wants Nicole. Eric ran off to find Jennifer to explain the truth.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
