Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recaps for Wednesday, October 25 features an emotionally overwhelmed Adrienne kissing Justin – and the two discussed what the kiss means …
Springing Into Action
Now that they know where Adrienne (Judi Evans) had been stashed, Justin (Wally Kurth), Steve (Stephen Nichols), and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) worked to free her. A grateful and stressed-out Adrienne thanked Justin with a big kiss. They admitted it “just happened” and didn’t really mean anything.
The warden was a total tool, not believing them. Even when Hattie ended up telling him the whole story, he didn’t believe it. Kayla tried to reason with him and offered to do a DNA swab of Adrienne and Steve. He allowed it but sticking to his total jerk status, said he still wouldn’t let Adrienne out if they can’t find Bonnie.
Steve and Kayla updated Adrienne on Joey and everything else, and she was horrified she wasn’t there to help support them. A devastated Adrienne was told she’s not being released just yet, so Steve arranged for a bodyguard to protect her – Hattie.
Just One of the Gang
Eli told Gabi that he hung out with Sheila and her brother Russell, getting into trouble with petty crimes. His mom scared him, as did the cops who set him straight about it. Eli went to say goodbye to them after his mom was transferred and found they moved on to drugs.

But, it got so much worse when one day he had to be the one to arrest them — after having made a pact as kids to always have each other’s back. Heartbreak happened when an opposing gang member killed Russell in prison. Eli blames himself for Russell’s death.
Sheila tried to shake down Bonnie for money, including Maggie’s pin, which Bonnie refused to part with until Sheila insisted. She then played on Sheila’s feeling about having one thing to remind you of that special someone. Sheila then gave it back.
Sheila told her try not to bite off more than you can chew next time. They hugged it out and went their separate ways, with Bonnie planning to see Mimi. She vowed Salem hasn’t seen the last of her. Sheila ran into Eli and he apologized and offered to help.
On the Case
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) wanted to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding Will (Chandler Massey), so she enlisted JJ (Casey Moss) and Lani (Sal Stowers) to help. Finally breaking in to his computer, they realized they need to follow the money.
