The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, May 8 features Chad takes Abby step by step through the night Andre was killed and learns what really happened.
Killer Memories
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Marci Miller) told Marlena (Deidre Hall) she was back and Marlena told Chad that Abby must confront what happened that night. So, at Marlena’s suggestion, Chad took her through the night of Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) murder.
She remembered going to see him and overheard him talking to Tony’s ashes in the urn about his betrayal. She confronted him, and he admitted his treachery.
He said it was revenge for being labeled mentally unfit and when she threatened to go to Chad, he stopped her. Andre vowed not to let her ruin his life but she felt threatened so she hit him over the head with the urn, but didn’t mean to kill him.
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Marlena spoke about Stefan (Tyler Christopher) paying for his crimes and he showed up in the squad room, looking for Gabigail.
Hope said she warned him to stay away from Abby. Stefan asked Marlena if Gabigail is gone for good and she told him to move on. Instead, he grabbed her wig and left.
Deep Betrayal
Leo (Greg Rikaart) received an urgent text from Vivian when he was at Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) and Sonny almost saw the text. Instead, Sonny saw his art and was impressed. He asked him to lunch and Leo agreed.

Holding All The Cards
Vivian (Louise Sorel) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) had a showdown about her corporate espionage. Kate threatened to go to the board and brought up Leo.
Vivian tried to play dumb but then Leo arrived. Kate threatened to call the police so Vivian offered to tell all. After, she offered to cut Kate in on Titan’s demise.
Chasing A Story
Will (Chandler Massey) filled Paul (Christopher Sean) in on his new lead about Dr. Rolf — that he kept a diary. Paul offered to help but he wanted lunch first.
They discussed his investigation of Leo, which Sonny overheard and warned Paul to back off. Later, Leo kissed Sonny.
