When Camila Banus first premiered on Days of our Lives back in 2010 as Gabi Hernandez, the character was sweet but sometimes she was a doormat. Well, Gabi is a doormat no more, and her portrayer has come a long way, too, over the years. The actress recently took stock of all that she’s accomplished… and what a year it’s been!

The gorgeous actress recently shared a stunning image of herself in the bathtub while enjoying a trip to the Dominican Republic, where she’s staying at the stunning El Embajador, a Royal Hideaway Hotel.
“Happy Mila!! Enjoying all the hard work from this past year! Every time I tell people that we shoot 10 episodes a week and more, they are in shock! The soap opera industry is one of the hardest working people out there.”

Hard Worker
Banus has certainly got that right! She knows how hard actors work on soaps… especially since she also spent some time recently on the set of the primetime show Star, in which she had a recurring role as Nina. But it’s her role as Gabi, especially in the past year, that has her feeling the most gratitude.

It’s great to see her excitement for what we’re going to see over the next year and if it’s anything like what the show has been serving up this last year, it’s sure to thrill DAYS fans.
