Instead of hitting its intended target, Lani’s ammo lodged in Stefan’s neck — a scene that deserves the award for most gruesome daytime injury — and the catastrophic injury leads to a grim prognosis: Stefan is brain dead.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Musings
While Stefan’s brutal shooting was certainly a surprise, the biggest shock of the week came courtesy of Jennifer Rose Horton (Melissa Reeves) who revealed that not only does Salem have it’s very own marijuana dispensary but she entered the establishment, purchased some product and baked it into donuts for an ailing Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes)!
Speaking of Julie, the series is really working overtime to convince us that they are really going to off the de-facto Horton matriarch. If only there was a strapping young man with a gunshot wound to the throat whose a registered organ donor…Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
