Hot on the heels of NBC’s announcement that Days of Our Lives (DOOL) has been renewed, came a soap opera celebration that proves daytime drama is alive and well in the 21st century.
After all, the show and its fans have been on pins and needles for a few weeks, since the renewal notice came later than it did last year. It was looking a little scary there, especially since she show would have to halt production within the next few weeks since it shoots six months ahead.
This would have made it almost impossible for the writing team to give a proper ending for all of our favorite Salem citizens. With this news, this is no longer a worry and you can imagine how much celebrating was had at the Burbank Studios.
