We all know that Paul Telfer plays a very slippery character on Days of Our Lives, and now it looks like there’s a new wrinkle where Xander’s concerned.
Telfer has tweeted what no Xander fan wants to hear about Salem’s own charming bastard.
“Alrighty gang, Xander is off back to his Greek island for a bit of R&R. Hope you enjoyed his visit to Salem – I certainly did : ) Cheers!”
From the reactions to his tweet, it’s a safe bet to say that many DAYS viewers enjoyed his Salem stint this time. While responding, he indicated his feelings on the subject and as always he was tongue-in-cheek about it.
“Hey, at least he’s not (mostly) dead this time…” he responded to one follower. Another asked when he’ll be back and he shared, “When you least expect it! : )”
Considering news has already broken that Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) returning, it’s a pretty safe bet that Xander won’t be too far behind.
Xander has been coming and going from DAYS since he was first introduced back in 2015.

He arrives, does something dastardly, and then takes off again so this isn’t anything new. But this time it did seem like he was destined to stay a bit longer considering there are no charges pending against him.
The poor guy is a bit down in the dumps since Brady (Eric Martsolf) was made the new CEO of Titan and not him and he’s not pleased with Victor (John Aniston).
And while Eve (Kassie DePaiva) does owe him, he’s not exactly sure what he wants to collect now that the CEO position is out of his grasp.
Hopefully Xander’s R&R on that Greek island won’t last too long. And, hopefully Telfer will be back in Salem soon where he belongs.
