Brand-new Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 24-28 promise a week of rescues and surprises as Salem finally recovers from The Terrible Trio’s seige.

Rafe To The Rescue
The villains may be gone, but life is not quite normal again for Hope (Kristian Alfonso). His blackmail forces her to go on a date with him, but Roman and Rafe (Galen Gering) seem to be onto things and come up with a plan to help poor Hope. The date then takes an unexpected turn when Rafe decides to make a huge sacrifice. Things seem to go well, however, because later in the week Rafe and Hope end up on a camping trip.

Johnson Romance
There’s more romance in store for Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) when Sweetness plans a surprise for her man. The pair looks forward to their future together, but of course it can’t all be smooth sailing and they end up with unsettling news.

How to Save a Life
Kayla also has a professional life to contend with, as she hopes to save Abe’s (James Reynolds) life. She calls an old friend back into town to help Abe, and Dr. Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) arrives to perform his life-saving surgery. Way, way back in the day, Abe and Valerie had a brief romance, and Theo (Kyler Pettis) is not happy to meet this new woman in his dad’s life.

On The Outs
Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) still can’t believe Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) baby daddy news and lashes out at the woman he claims to love for betraying him. Nicole feels heartbroken, but at least she’s unburdened her guilt.

A New Venture
Eduardo (A Martinez) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) hook up again after he makes a pact with John. He tells her about his new “family” business and offers her a job. Kate is a lady with many jobs lately, so where will she turn?

Charity Gone Wrong?
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Andre (Thaao Penghlis) actually come to an understanding and decide to throw a DiMera Halloween charity fundraiser. An announcement is later made, and something tells us it comes from Victor (John Aniston). A magician even performs, but his act soon takes a dark turn…
