Days of Our Lives spoilers (DOOL) for May 1-5 promise an emotional and dangerous week both in and out of Salem. Lives are put on the line once again–as is a budding romance.
Just as Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) thought she could find some happiness with Eric (Greg Vaughan), the one woman who has always had a pull on him gets in the way.
For Eric, things always go back to Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and have for 20 years. When an injured Brady (Eric Martsolf) tells Eric that Nicole’s life is in danger, he asks him to go find her–right after Eric asks a thrilled Jennifer out on a date.
Unfortunately, Eric drops Jen like a hot potato and embarks on a mission to save Nicole and Holly’s lives.
Meanwhile, Xander (Paul Telfer) holds Nicole and her daughter hostage, and she tries to trick him to escape. Back in Salem, Brady codes as soon as Rafe tries to arrest him.

Abigail (Marci Miller) might be trying to get on with her life without a man by her side, but Chad (Billy Flynn) doesn’t want to make it easy for her. He tells his wife he’s not giving up. However, he’s still in cahoots with Kate (Lauren Koslow) to bring down Deimos (Vincent Irizarry).
Gabi Seems Just Fine
Of course, Gabi (Camila Banus) manages to move on with her life as she and Eli (Lamon Archey) grow closer. This doesn’t sit well with Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) as the two women once again clash.
On the Johnson front, Tripp (Lucas Adams) realizes his father didn’t kill his mother after all. Sadly, he then thinks Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is the culprit.
