Belle (Martha Madison) and John (Drake Hogestyn) are still worried sick over Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) condition, which looks dire as she lays in a deep coma.
The father and daughter have a tense discussion about Marlena’s fate, now that Belle has learned her mother’s wishes.
John feels betrayed by Belle’s actions to follow Marlena’s directive. Wanting to save the woman he loves, John fights his daughter but by week’s end, Marlena’s loved ones gather to say their emotional goodbyes.
Sami (Alison Sweeney) is distraught to hear about her mother’s condition, especially without being allowed to see her.
