Days of Our Lives Spoilers: John Is Ready to Give In

Upping the Stakes
The siege that Salem has been under for the last several weeks has everyone on edge. After all, the kids were kidnapped and Abe (James Reynolds) almost lost his life after getting shot. John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) have come up with a plan to get rid of the convicts once and for all–and have recruited many of their friends and family to help them carry it out. But ,now they worry about their risky plot to capture Orpheus (George DelHoyo), Clyde (James Read), and Xander (Paul Telfer). John calls Orpheus and arranges to surrender himself to him to end this reign of terror.

Clyde wanted nothing more than to steal Thomas so he could take him to his homicidal son who is in a maximum-security prison, demonstrating he’s not exactly playing with a full deck upstairs. Chad (Billy Flynn) knew this was his plan and asked Adrienne (Judi Evans) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) to be there for his son should anything happen to him. Now that he’s been shot – by his own brother – Adrienne lashes out at Andre (Thaao Penghlis) for his apparent betrayal.

Fantasy Island
Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) continues to live in a dream world where Hope (Kristian Alfonso) could possibly love him again. After all, blackmail is how most successful relationships begin, right?! Apparently, he thinks that holding the threat of jail for her, the man she loves, and her former brother-in-law will be just the ticket to win him a spot back in her bed. He’s a bit perplexed about what his great master plan hasn’t already won her heart, but that won’t deter him. Aiden continues to put pressure on Hope to agree to a date with him.
