The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, January 16 features Chloe and Rex getting reacquainted as both update the other on some important things!
Rex (Kyle Lowder) told Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) Eric could handle himself but she went to follow Eric anyway. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) dropped by to look for Holly’s toy and Rex thanked her for revealing he has a child. She told him Lucas left the country and broke up with her.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) attacked Xander (Paul Telfer) but Sarah returned and eventually talked him down. When Xander told Sarah he owes her one, Eric decked him.
Eli (Lamon Archey) arrived and arrested Xander for shooting Marlena. Eric thanked Sarah for saving him from himself. She wondered if he was thinking Nicole may have escaped the fire too.
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) told Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) that Ciara went to see Theo. Hope gloated and then taunted him that Stefan may turn on him. But not so fast, Hope.
Ted (Gilles Marini) advised Stefan (Tyler Christopher) to turn on Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stefan wondered if he was doing this for Hope, maybe even sleeping with her.

Ted ignored him and walked out to tell Hope he failed. Later, he had to tell her the real culprits were caught and Stefan’s been released, ticking off Hope.
Gabi (Camila Banus) went to see Chad (Billy Flynn) about Gabi Chic and played the Ari card. He then told her to stay the hell out of his life but agreed to break her contract for Ari’s sake. But then Stefan showed up and announced he’s back.
Abby (Kate Mansi) slammed the door on Kate (Lauren Koslow), but then told her off for colluding with Gabi.
Abby told Kate she’s not a good person and the best thing she could do for Chad is get out of his life. Kate asked why she let Gabi off the hook. Abby said she’ll never forgive either of them.
