The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, October 31 features an entirely weird dream just like last year, except this year it was Hattie’s mind conjuring up some super crazy stuff.

It all started with Hattie (Deidre Hall) being released from the hospital just as Kristen’s bloody body was found. John (Drake Hogestyn) then took her to live at the DiMera mansion and take care of Abigail.

Alone, Abigail (Marci Miller) confessed to Hattie (as Marlena) that she thinks her alters may have been truly sleeping around and that she’s not sure who fathered her child. Then, Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Hayes) showed up with some weird Brooklyn accents and gave Abby an herbal drink.

When Eli (Lamon Archey) was spooked in the tunnels by some random gunshots, Abby went into labor and gave birth to a baby who looked like Andre (Thaao Penghlis). Then Andre showed up and claimed to be the father, but then Rolf also showed up as the man who brought Andre back to life.

Hope also appeared to solve the Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) murder, but then Rolf turned her into Princess Gina and she wanted John, who was just annoyed by the whole thing.

For some reason, Hattie also dreamed of playing Scrabble with John at the pub, and then Anjelica Deveraux (Judith Chapman, the second actress to play the character) showed up and morphed into Satan, using the same voice Marlena did when she was Satan decades ago.

Back at the DiMera mansion, Abby learned her baby looked like someone besides Andre, but we never actually learned who.

That’s because Hattie woke, decided she did NOT want to be Marlena, and she wanted a divorce. John was relieved, so all’s well that ends well?

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
