The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, January 28 features Rex pulling off a miracle as Sarah takes him back!
Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) were surprised by Rex (Kyle Lowder) when he accused them of sleeping together.
When Eric denied it, he asked Sarah why there were condoms in her room. When he kept pushing, she named Xander and Eric stormed out.
Rex admitted it doesn’t make them even — and they never will be unless she sleeps with Eric. But he said she hurt herself and Eric more than him. He then asked for another chance.
Marlena (Deidre Hall) first told Will (Chandler Massey) that John hadn’t learned much yet. Eric arrived as Will left, needing to talk. He told Marlena everything about Sarah, and she wondered if he had real feelings for the woman.
Eric worried about hurting Rex like he hurt Brady. But later, Eric walked in on a reunited Sarah and Rex kissing!
Sonny (Freddie Smith) learned that Leo (Greg Rikaart) tried to trade sex for the pictures with Xander. Desperate for sex, he threatened to send pictures to the press if Sonny didn’t take care of business.

Later, Will learned John found Leo’s mom as the woman herself arrived at the Kiriakis mansion.
Will also ran into Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashford). Jennifer told Jack they have a lot in common. Will told him about the good and bad parts about having his memory and offered to be there if Jack has any questions.
Jack asked Jennifer why she teased him with this knowledge. Jennifer realized he is not the same man who found the hope in every situation — and she doesn’t like this version.
Xander (Paul Telfer) told Eve (Kassie DePaiva) that Brady has been named CEO and he’s furious. He threatened to get Jack his memory back if she doesn’t get him something.
He took Rolf’s diary and she fought him to get it back but failed. He left but told her he’d be back. Jack arrived and wondered why Xander was there.
