The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, August 31 features Kristen threatening to kill several people… and she may have succeeded.
A Matter of Life And Death
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) made Brady (Eric Martsolf) leave his hotel room for John and Marlena’s room. Brady tried to slow things down but Kristen reminded him that if he didn’t do as she wanted, Eve would die.
Brady turned the tables on her and demanded to know where Eve was, just as she burst in the door and found them on the bed. Brady explained himself as Kristen unraveled and pulled a gun. As she aimed at Eve, Sami burst in, demanding information on EJ.
Kristen turned her venom on Sami, saying she would kill her first and then Eve. With the gun in her chest, Sami continued to provoke Kristen. Before she could shoot her, Paul went after the gun and both fell out the window!
Oh Brother
Earlier, Paul (Christopher Sean) entered Brady’s room and was shocked to find Sami (Alison Sweeney). She told him that she’s sure Kristen had Brady because she was obsessed with him. Freed from the freezer, Eve found them in her room but left once she heard Brady was somewhere in the hotel.

Out Cold
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) found a knocked out Rafe (Galen Gering) and they realized Sami went after Kristen, but then Doug and Julie arrived to update them on Eve having been locked by Kristen in the freezer.
Moving Forward
Will (Chandler Massey) reunited with his daughter and Sonny (Freddie Smith) couldn’t stop smiling. Will told Sonny he loves him and the two kissed. He told Sonny he’ll have to break Paul’s heart.
The Long Wait
Steve (Stephen Nichols) supported John (Drake Hogestyn) as he waited for word on Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) condition. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) said Marlena survived surgery but a bullet fragment was too close to her heart to remove. John went to see her and asked Steve to update the others.
