The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, December 31 features Eve looking to destroy Jennifer and using Jack to do just that as he broke the news he doesn’t remember her.
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) crashed the New Year’s Eve party and aired her grievances toward those she felt have done her wrong, starting with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). She exploited everyone’s weakness but Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) reminded Eve she mowed her down as a kid.
Eve said she wanted to destroy Jennifer’s life and said a man would walk through the door who would do it. JJ (Casey Moss) wanted to leave but Eve warned him he’d want to see the guy — a member of his family and Adrienne’s (Judi Evans) — Jack (Matthew Ashford).
When Jack did walk in, he shocked everyone, especially Jennifer, who hugged him as she cried. He then announced he had no memory. (Paging Will: Do you have any more of those vials?) JJ introduced himself but Jack didn’t remember him either.
Jack told Jennifer that Eve’s his whole world. When asked where Jack has been the last six years, Eve said he didn’t know and she only found him weeks ago. Jack got upset that nothing was coming back to him and when Jennifer asked to take him home, he freaked out and said no.

Eve revealed that she gave him the book he wrote and he turned on Jennifer, noting what he learned about how she treated him. Jennifer poured her heart out to Jack but he didn’t care. Adrienne tried to help but Jack wanted to stay with Eve, who announced they’re back in Salem to stay. Later, Jennifer lamented he’s not the same man.
Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) made a quick getaway after Eve showed up. He wanted to take her out dancing but the club was too packed. He suggested going back to his place since Sheila was busy at a TLC concert. Things heated up and they began to make love.
