The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, December 26 features Ben trying to help his new boss by kidnapping Gabi!
Chad (Billy Flynn) was stunned when Abby (Kate Mansi) told him he’s Charlotte’s father. He was ready to kill Stefan so she told him that Gabi (Camila Banus) is the one who switched the results.
Gabi then appeared in the living room and tried to defend herself, but Abby wasn’t having it and punched her.
When Abby left to care for a crying Charlotte, Gabi pointed out to Chad all that was done to her. While Chad said he understands her anger at Abby, what did he do to her to deserve this?! Gabi claimed she was going to make it right but Chad told her she cost him everything and caused him to hate his own child.
Abby overheard and pointed out all the things Gabi did, and Chad begged Gabi to tell him the truth — so she admitted Abby was right. Chad wanted to call the cops but Abby told Gabi to spend today with Ari but Chad said tomorrow she would pay. Alone, Chad apologized to Abby.
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) told Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) everything about Gabi, and Jennifer felt horrible but thanked Julie for helping Abby. It was hard for Jennifer to process what she did, considering Gabi saved JJ.

Stefan (Tyler Christopher) lashed out in his grief. Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) tried to warn Stefan about going to the darkness but Stefan asked him to do him a favor, which meant he had to cancel his date with Ciara. That favor was kidnapping Gabi.
JJ (Casey Moss) tried to get Haley (Thia Megia) to open up but he irritated her. He admitted to hearing her on the phone and seeing her cry and just wanted to help. She tried to get him to back off and leave her alone.
Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) had an awkward encounter as she made plans with Ben and told him about Ben’s gift. Later, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) accused Ciara of not wanting Tripp but not wanting her to have him.
They had a civil conversation. Claire found Tripp wrapping a gift that turned out to be for her and they hugged.
