The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, December 19 has Gabi feeling like she has no choice but to kill Julie in order to avoid being sent back to prison. But will she?
Sonny (Freddie Smith) was furious when Leo (Greg Rikaart) crawled into bed with him. Leo insisted they will be lovers eventually, got money from Sonny and headed out shopping.
Out and about, Leo saw Will (Chandler Massey) and taunted him that he was in Sonny’s bed so Will decked him. When he wanted to do more, Sonny arrived and stopped him. Sonny felt horrible but had to follow Leo home.
Gabi (Camila Banus) was plagued by nightmares of getting caught. Later, Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) questioned her. She claimed Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) left after she caught her snooping and Eli called foul on that but accepted her statement.
Later, Ari said all she wanted from Santa was her mommy to never leave again. So Gabi snuck into Julie’s room and held a pillow above Julie’s face as she considered killing her.
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) asked Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) about Julie but she had no updates. She then asked Chloe to let Eric (Greg Vaughan) raise Holly since it was Nicole’s last wish. Chloe asked why it’s Sarah’s business.

Sarah busted holes in her sweet story about giving birth to Holly, ticking off Chloe. They started verbal sparring just as Eric arrived. Chloe told them both to get out, but Eric said he will find a way to get custody.
Later, Sarah told him she’s staying in Salem. Both were shocked to discover Holly (who was with Chloe) gone.
Tripp (Lucas Adams) cooked breakfast for Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan), annoying Ciara (Victoria Konefal). The two young women got catty with each other until Tripp told them about Julie.
They went to see Julie and comforted each other. Tripp was happy to see that they could put aside their issues and be there for each other.
