The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, August 25 promise that Anjelica’s shocking death will changes things in Salem as Bonnie and Hattie scramble to cover their tracks. You won’t want to miss a moment of this life-changing episode.
Ding Dong
Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild) tried to stop a mutiny by Hattie (Deidre Hall) and Bonnie (Judi Evans) as she nursed a headache. She got to deliver zinger after zinger (Bonnie quoted Jon Bon Jovi but Anj pointed out it was Shakespeare) and then promptly dropped dead. Oh no!
Anjelica may have been delusional and put horrible things in motion but darn it if she wasn’t hilarious with those zingers. She will be missed. In the meantime, Hattie and Bonnie have their work cut out for them if they want to get away clean.
Brain Storming
Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) spent the entire episode mulling the different people who could have possibly been pulling Hattie’s strings. Their fabulous conversation took place through adjoining rooms’ air vents. Alas, they were off base.
Catching Up
Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) caught up on the latest gossip. She couldn’t believe Marlena broke up with John. She then wished him luck with Nicole, which of course Nicole overheard. She wasn’t sure what to make of it and looked uncomfortable.

Too Much Happiness?
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail were grateful to be in love and together. Ditto for Paul (Christopher Sean) and Sonny (Freddie Smith). But both couples quickly realized they may be in direct conflict. Abigail showed she’s brilliant and suggested a double wedding.
Down in the Dumps
Gabi (Camila Banus) saw Nicole, who in a rare moment actually noticed that someone else was upset. Gabi broke down when Nicole mentioned she thought she’d be thrilled Chad’s free. Later, Chad tried to apologize to Gabi for not being the one to tell her and hurting her.
Poor Gabi felt left out when she spotted the two engaged couples celebrating their joy.
