On Monday, Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans got a glimpse of a hand in restraints that got a key to get out of those restraints. Uh-oh!
Of course, now everyone wants to know who that hand really belonged to. Since this is how a soap works, we have no doubt it will play into future storyline–but how? And who?
We know Will (Chandler Massey) is somehow alive, although he is seen as a Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) hallucination later this week. What we don’t know is where he’s been for the last two years?
So, now fan minds are wandering and wondering whose hand could that be? Will is foremost on everyone’s mind, although there would be no reason we know of for him to be in a mental institution.
Then again, we have no idea what’s happened to him for the last two years and perhaps something happened to make him end up there.
The other top contender for the mystery hand spot is Ben Weston, aka Batty Ben, the truly psychotic character who ‘killed’ Will and then tried burning Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby in the bed, but then Abby (then-Kate Mansi) turned the tables (or shall we say the bed) months later.
Last we knew, Ben was badly burnt, but also sent to a mental facility rather than back to prison. Could he have been the one helping himself to freedom?
Of course, the hand could belong to someone else entirely. Xander (Paul Telfer) is another sociopath who never seems to really disappear and there’s always a possibility he could return.
The hand also looks like it could belong to a slightly older person, so might it be Clyde (James Reed)? He always did have a soft spot for Dr. Evans (kinda), so maybe he heard she was around and wanted to say ‘hi’.
We also now know Robert Scott Wilson returns two DAYS in less than two weeks, but we’re not sure why. So, our bets are on either Ben or Will and we can’t wait to see what this is all about.
