On Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), Anne has made no secret of her crush on Lucas. Heck, she was willing to go skydiving to get up close and personal with the man of her dreams!
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), on the other hand, has made no secret of his devotion to Adrianne (Judi Evans). Even when she was having a spot of trouble choosing between him and Justin (Wally Kurth).
Now Adrianne and Lucas are back together. But Anne is not exactly a curl up and die kind of lady. This is the woman who turned Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) getting the job Anne wanted back in 2012 into a half-decade long vendetta — even though the two are now working together at The Spectator.
She helped Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) go after Daniel, and she helped Theresa (Jen Lilly) with… pretty much everything in the Soap Schemer Handbook.
But there is more to Anne (Meredith Scott Lynn) than just sitting in a corner twirling her (metaphorical) mustache of evil. She actually helped Jennifer and Drew (Charles Shaughnessy) with their whole Orwell caper.
And she was honestly hurt when Theresa left town without saying goodbye. (Anne doesn’t know it was part of a plot to bring down a drug lord via Theresa abandoning her family.)

Lucas is usually pretty good at seeing beyond a person’s projected exterior into the real them. Heck, he forgave Sami (Alison Sweeney) how many times? (Though whether that speaks to his good or bad taste in women is questionable.)
And here is the most important part: Anne is conniving and snarky and prickly. But she’s also… fun. Adrianne is sensitive and sweet and brave and long-suffering. She’s also kind of dull.
After 20-plus years of Sami, Lucas may think he wants sweet. But is he ready for boring? We don’t think so. And Anne might just be the excitement he doesn’t even know he’s craving… yet.
