After less than a year in the role, John-Paul Lavoisier is bidding Philip Kiriakis goodbye on Tuesday’s episode of Days of Our Lives.
The former One Life to Lives actor (ex-Rex) joined the show during the summer of 2015 and began airing last December.
During his time in Salem, his Philip reconnected with former loves Belle (Martha Madison) and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin).
Lavoisier also experienced his ups and downs with his father, Victor (John Aniston) and nephew Brady (Eric Martsolf), whom he eventually was able to help a bit after his breakup with Theresa (Jen Lilley).

But he never had an “up” with his uncle Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), who recently had him kidnapped, drugged, and battered him into revealing Chloe’s confidence about the real situation with the baby she’s carrying.
It’s unclear how Philip is leaving — since he got turned down by Chloe after his declaration of love. What we do know is that Philip’s final act on the show will be a confrontation with Deimos.
How that one goes is anyone’s guess — will he leave having punched him… or could Philip simply “disappear” after their encounter?
