It’s time for the latest corporate intrigue on Days Of Our Lives! With all the major DiMeras either dead or out on bail for kidnapping, the two best candidates for CEO are a pair of “wives” — in name only, and one of whom is actually an under latex DiMera.
Gabi (Camila Banus) married Stefan (Brandon Barash) so she could contest for the title, and Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) wearing a Nicole (Arianne Zucker) mask married Tony (Taao Penghlis) in order to achieve the same objective. The board picked Gabi…for the moment. But who is the fans’ pick? What almost 12,000 viewers had to say:

A near-unanimous 93% is on Team Gabi – -some because of how beautifully she played Stefan in order to get where she is, and some in spite of it. But, still, she’s the logical choice.

She’s run her own company. And she’s not crazy nutso, cuckoo. Gabi running DiMera opens all sorts of story opportunities. It’s about time she became the wealthiest, most powerful woman in town. And, also, she’s not wearing a latex mask pretending to be a presumed dead woman and spiriting her child out of town. Gabi is kind of crazy. But she’s not Kristen crazy.
Only 7% of the audience is cheering on Kristen — and not just because she actually is a DiMera, albeit an adopted one. (Which is what makes her marriage to Tony a tiny bit less icky. When she first popped up in Salem, then played by Eileen Davidson, Stefano was actually setting Kristen up to marry Tony.)
She actually has business experience beyond running a fashion website. She can be ruthless in ways Gabi can’t even imagine. And, to be honest, you really want to see how long she can keep this Nicole act going. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
