How many Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) will Nicole be spending in captivity? Is this the end of the road for her? Or is it, in fact, the best thing that ever could have happened?

Let’s face it, Nicole was in a bad spot. She fled Salem after kidnapping Holly from Chloe — against a judge’s direct order. Sure, she and Brady (Eric Martsolf) were playing Happy Family in Canada, complete with two cherubic kids… and a hardware store.
But she had creepy Scooter (Robb Derringer) bringing up her porno past and demanding sex just like in the videos, while his wife the cop (Jennifer Landon; did DOOL really just hire a three-time Emmy winner to be a glorified extra?) could have figured out Nicole’s secret at any moment.
As long as Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was out in public, she was in danger. And she’s not out in public anymore, is she?
Why Can’t We Have Nice Things?
Not only is Nicole in a place where Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) can’t get to her and Holly, but she is also living a life of luxury. Nicole likes luxury. (How long were she and Brady really going to be happy playing Ma and Pa Kettle On the Run?)

If she thinks Xander (Paul Telfer) is treating her well in captivity, wait till Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) swoops in to “rescue” her. Deimos can buy Nicole even nicer things. So… nice things, out of sight with Holly, no hardware store… yeah, this could work. What’s so great about Salem, anyway?
Careful What You Wish For
On the other hand, Xander is a psycho. He could flip over anything, and if he starts to suspect that Deimos might double-cross him, Xander could choose to stick it to Deimos, first.
What’s to stop Xander for taking off with Nicole and Holly and using them for his own nefarious purposes?
Nicole might be on the right track, trying to escape at first opportunity, but between Xander and Deimos, is she jumping from the frying pan right into the fire?
