The Days of Our Lives recap (DOOL) for Wednesday, June 20 has Will keeping a secret from Paul but confiding in Marlena.
Blame Game
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was a nervous wreck about Ciara, barking orders when Tripp (Lucas Adams) came by asking if there was news.
Hope lost it as Rafe (Galen Gering) arrived, and she apologized to Tripp. Rafe told her Lani’s baby died, which brought back memories of losing Zack.
Opening Up
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) brought Ciara (Victoria Konefal) a phone charger, but she wasn’t sure she wanted to be found. She also wasn’t sure she trusted Ben, but softened when opened up about loving a kitten who ended up hit by a car and how his father laughed about it.
She realized his father’s treatment was a big reason he turned out the way he did. She didn’t want to be a monster either but wasn’t ready to return home. He offered her his burner phone to call Hope, which she did, shocking her mother.
Bad Move
Marlena (Deidre Hall) came by and Will (Chandler Massey) admitted he did have a memory of Sonny. She realized that he was keeping it from Paul (Christopher Sean).

He got upset when she refused to get the serum. Marlena asked him to be patient and he agreed to try but then he tried to call Kayla.
Paul thanked John (Drake Hogestyn) for his help researching Leo for Sonny. When he returned home, he found a note from Will saying he had to go out. Meanwhile, Will was at the hospital where he stole the serum.
Strange Alliance?
Chad (Billy Flynn) visited Sonny (Freddie Smith) and updated him on Ben. He then wondered if things would be better if he were more like Stefano.
Chad also suggested they put their heads together to figure a way out of their business issues, which was his opening to pitch.
