The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for February 28 features Gabigail losing it and trying to kill Vivian when she taunts her about her “style.”
Danger Looms
As Stefan (Tyler Christopher) continued reading Kimberly Brady’s book, Vivian (Louise Sorel) was shocked to find Gabigail (Marci Miller). She asked why she was wearing a wig and who was she pretending to be. Gabigail said her name, causing Vivian to question if she’s off her meds.
When Vivian went to call Chad, Gabigail picked up a poker and went after Vivian. Stefan heard a scream and was able to subdue Gabigail after warning his mother not to say anything to anyone, especially Chad. As he tried to reason with her, Vivian wanted to investigate the secret passageway but was caught by Chad.
Vivian tried to play it off with him, asking cagey questions about how Abigail’s dealing with her grief while Stefan swore to help Gabigail avoid prison. He took out the lid and asked for her coat so he could frame someone else. After she left, Vivian arrived, asking for the truth about Abby. Downstairs, Chad was shocked by Gabigail!
On the Case
Kate (Lauren Koslow) told Chad (Billy Flynn) that things started going bad with Andre when Stefan arrived.
They discussed their fear of what he’s capable of and Chad suggested she push Vivian’s buttons. Kate warned that they got away with killing Andre and framing Gabi. What’s to stop them from going after them?

Walls Close In
Gabi (Camila Banus) went to Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) to deliver a stuffed animal Ari missed. She shared her fear, and he tried to be optimistic. Later, she ran into Kate and thanked her for being at her hearing. Kate promised to do everything she could to save Gabi from the murder charge.
Wedding Bell Blues
JJ (Casey Moss) suggested to Lani (Sal Stowers) that they elope right then and there. He thought Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) could marry them too since they’d probably have the same guests as Hope and Rafe. Lani talked him down. Later, JJ wondered why Valerie seemed against their union, which Lani wasn’t happy to hear.
Second Thoughts
Valerie (Vanessa Williams) tried to support Eli (Lamon Archey) but questioned his decision. She pointed out how he will be the spectator in his child’s life. Valerie fears he’ll feel the same regret she felt but he told her what matters now is Gabi.
