The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for January 29 features a cocky Stefan believing he’s covered his and Vivian’s tracks regarding Andre’s murder – but is he dead wrong?
Cover Your Assets
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) again assured Vivian (Louise Sorel) that he did what he had to. She asked how he could be so stupid as to turn over the footage that could incriminate them – and Kate (Lauren Koslow) overheard. She told Vivian to keep her mouth shut and Stefan agreed.
A Big Clue
Eli (Lamon Archey) and Rafe (Galen Gering) discussed theories on who killed Andre (Thaao Penghlis). When they saw Gabi in the footage, both were worried, especially when she exited angry. Then they saw Anna enter and exit – then suddenly the screen went black.
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) saw this as well and all three realized they need to go back and talk with Stefan just as Stefan admitted to Vivian he stopped the recording before they did anything. That will wait – first they arrived at the Pub to take Roman and Anna in, since footage proved Roman lied.
It’s Her Urn
Earlier, Anna (Leann Hunley) told Roman (Josh Taylor) she wished he hadn’t lied to the cops. He told her he hired John (Drake Hogestyn) to find out who sent the note and then tried to calm her down. Kate arrived, upset Anna wasn’t in jail and outright accused her of murder.

John and Steve (Stephen Nichols) discussed the case, and Steve asked John if he thinks Roman lied for Anna. Later, John was on the phone, saying he needed another dose and that Steve doesn’t suspect a thing. Steve realized he was getting worse.
Good for the Soul
Lani (Sal Stowers) told Gabi (Camila Banus) she’s pregnant and Gabi cheered her up. Gabi asked her if she got her earring from Eli and admitted she was worried for a moment after finding it. Gabi told her Eli has been a rock for her and later Gabi congratulated JJ.
