The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, March 26 features things heating up between Stefan and Gabigail until she listens to a startling message from Chad!
Down and Dirty
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) had the hotel security stop Chad (Billy Flynn) from encountering Gabigail (Marci Miller). He got to play her savior and boy was she grateful. So grateful in fact, she started kissing him.
Chad was furious to find drugs were planted in his luggage as he was being taken to the station. Hope went with him and called Belle (Martha Madison) to meet them while Shawn went to investigate the mysterious woman. He found nothing and reported back to Chad, who tried to warn Abby but she missed his call.
Meanwhile, Stefan tried to put the brakes on, not wanting to take advantage of the situation, but Gabigail claimed he said she’s real so they should move forward. When Stefan left, Gabigail listened to her message from Chad, and a VERY confused Abigail emerged.
Shocking Development
Eli (Lamon Archey) and Gabi (Camila Banus) walked in as Lani (Sal Stowers) confessed to JJ that her baby is Eli’s.
Gabi flipped out and Eli ushered her out of the room as she couldn’t believe he lied to her face. She let him know she couldn’t forgive him again and never wanted to see her again.

JJ (Casey Moss) laced into Lani for her deception. He told her she should have told him the truth. She poured out her heart, letting him know why she did what she did and the pity defense hurt JJ even more. Lani begged him to tell her they could get past this. Instead, JJ told her to get the hell out of his sight.
For The Love of Hope
Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) literally ran into Rafe (Galen Gering) and gave him a piece of their mind for hurting Hope. He admitted they were married, shocking them. Julie was horrible to him about his family and he asked her to leave them out of it. He was full of remorse and let them know.
Earlier, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) told Shawn (Brandon Beemer) she wanted to annul the marriage. He understood she’s hurting, but said that maybe when she heals they could start fresh.
