The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, April 11 features Stefan and Gabigail scrambling to figure out how to keep Marlena from blowing their secret wide open.
Over the Edge
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) and Gabigail (Marci Miller) had to fix their Marlena (Deidre Hall) problem, especially when Kate (Lauren Koslow) returned to the house. They moved Marlena to the secret passageway but wondered what to do when she woke up.
Stefan refused to murder her and felt the passageway was soundproof. They checked Marlena’s phone and realized she was supposed to be having dinner with John. Gabigail started to panic and Stefan asked her to trust him. He took Marlena’s phone and texted John.
Over the Edge
Chad (Billy Flynn) visited Gabi (Camila Banus) at Statesville, vowing to help her get out. Gabi guessed Abby helped Stefan because she never forgave her for having feelings for Chad. Chad didn’t believe her, prodding Gabi to suggest that maybe her mental illness is back. Chad thinks Stefan brainwashed her.
Shocking News
Rafe (Galen Gering) was hurt that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) already signed annulment papers to end their marriage.
He said they owe it to their love to try to make it work – and he refused to sign, vowing not to give up on her as he tossed the papers in the trash.

Missing in Action
Brady (Eric Martsolf) tried to get Eve (Kassie DePaiva) to spend time with him but she blew him off. He then found John (Drake Hogestyn) and updated him as he waited for Marlena.
John encouraged Brady to follow his heart. He then had to go because he was worried about Marlena missing their dinner. When he got Stefan’s text saying she was with a patient, John was in her office trying to figure out where she could be. Oops — bad move, Stefan!
White Knight
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) told Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) he was going to find out who the mystery man was but ended up confronting his mother, asking her if she was behind it. Kate denied, even though she wished she had thought of it.
Eve arrived at the bar, and Chloe updated her. Eve encouraged her to follow her dream. Eve then updated Chloe on the bet with Brady, but Chloe wondered if she accepted the bet to give Brady another chance to make it work.
