The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, October 26 features Rafe coming to the aid of an ex-wife but will it cost him the love of the woman he wants as his next wife?
It Gets Ugly, Folks
Rafe (Galen Gering) clashes with Hope (Kristian Alfonso) over her arresting Sami (Alison Sweeney). She lets him know Dr. Rolf is now dead because of Sami, which defuses Rafe’s anger.
But then Hope called him a hypocrite, and he threw Zack in her face. It hurt her to be reminded of her late son but they eventually made up.
For The Love of Nicole
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) stopped by Brady’s to catch up and ask what happened with Nicole. He boasts that Eric and Nicole won’t get their happy ending. She advised he should avoid drinking for Tate’s sake, and Brady lied that he’s not even thinking about it. Of course as soon as she left, he poured a drink but later poured it out.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) told Roman (Josh Taylor) he’s staying in town, thanks to Jennifer. He then headed to Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) to confront him, asking what he said to Nicole to make her leave. Brady, anxious to twist the knife, called her a lying slut, and of course Eric decked him. So much for brotherly love.

Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Abby had a heart-to-heart talk and Abby tried to push her mother to be there for Eric and help him get over Nicole. Jennifer knows that’s a tall order but it didn’t stop her from wishing for the same.
Smell a Rat
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) basked in their love, but it isn’t all rainbows and unicorns for Chad. He has work to do as well. But he and Kate (Lauren Koslow) figure out something is wrong at DiMera as Jennifer questions Kate about the stability of the company.
Later, Kate and Chad discussed who the culprit could be messing with their company and Kate’s attempt to buy other companies. Thinking it could be Andre (Thaao Penghlis), Kate advised he keep it from Abby since she’s close to him.
He refused to lie to Abby just as she arrived at the door, relieved to hear it. So, they went off to enjoy more of their honeymoon at home. Meanwhile, Roman arrived to update Kate about the search for their grandson.
