Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Nicole and Holly Leave Salem!

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, October 20 features Nicole vowing that one day she and Holly will return to Salem for Eric, but alas…has to leave now.

A Final Farewell
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) met Brady (Eric Martsolf) in the park. He told her she doesn’t deserve to be happy as she begged to be able to leave Salem with Eric — but no dice. On her way out of town, she had a run-in with Sami, who is merciless. After Sami leaves, she ran into Jennifer next.

Nicole caught her up, and said she never meant to hurt either brother. She swore she’ll always care about Eric, but she’s leaving Salem with Holly. Jen said she’s so sorry, and Nicole appreciated her kindness. She asked Jennifer to check on him and make sure he’s okay. Ready to leave, Nicole swears to return some day.

A Welcomed Return
Before she confronted Nicole, Sami (Alison Sweeney) brought a happy crappy birthday cake to Eric (Greg Vaughan) and forced her way inside his cabin. She asked about Nicole and was thrilled when she thought Eric dumped her. She’s furious when she heard what Nicole did.

Eric was plagued by memories of his last conversation with Nicole and trashed his home in heartbreak and frustration. He sliced his hand open and slumped to the ground. Jennifer arrived to find Eric sitting on the floor, a complete wreck.

Kate welcomed Sami back with an awkward hug. Sami asked Kate why no one told her about Will, but Kate said they didn’t want to get her hopes up. They talked about Lucas and their fear for him. Sami promised to try to get through to him again.

She asked Kate how she could be married to Stefano 2.0, and Kate let Sami know that Andre followed through and found Rolf. Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) found Dr. Rolf at the hotel, thanks to Andre.

Wedding Bell Blues
Adrienne tried to get a hold of Justin, but Bonnie answered. Victor (John Aniston) appeared to have a deal with the preacher, whom Bonnie immediately fired. She then had Sheila to marry them. Brady walked in and asks what’s happening. Victor said he and Maggie got a quick divorce so that the maid can marry him to Adrienne.

Brady swore he didn’t have a drink and is confused. Victor told him if he wants to stay in his good graces, he’ll be a silent witness. As Sheila struggled with the words, Maggie burst in.
