The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, December 29 features a happy night in Salem that goes awry.
Loose Ciara Lips?
Abby (Marci Miller) and Chad (Billy Flynn) were so glad things were finally going well, they decided to throw quite the shindig New Year’s Eve party to celebrate and announce that Chad is taking over as CEO of DiMera Enterprises. However, tension in the air and a few surprises made things not go as planned.
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) hung around with a chip on her shoulder as per usual, armed with the knowledge that Rafe (Galen Gering) slept with Sami (Alison Sweeney).
So, she got drunk and caused quite a scene, something her mother was not very happy about. Ciara is just all sorts of angry these days and doesn’t know how bad it’s about to get.
It’s Vivian Without Ivan
And then, surprise, guess who’s back in town? It’s Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) and she’s not alone. She showed at the Doug’s Place party with a special guest who is not at all Ivan. Wait till you see him and hear his name.

Passionate Kisses
There were also some surprise kisses at midnight. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Eric kissed (Greg Vaughan), and so did Will (Chandler Massey) and Paul (Christopher Sean).
Will had promised to meet Sonny (Freddie Smith) later but needed to get some alone time and ran into Paul, who was about to do a midnight run. This is the second time Will has kissed Paul since he’s been back. Hmmm…
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) also shared a New Year’s Eve kiss, but Eve is not quite sure what to think of that.
