The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for April 9 features Marlena realizing Dr. Laura took her glasses – which means SHE was the one she spoke to – not Abigail.
Completely Duped
Marlena (Deidre Hall) called Abigail (Marci Miller), offering a double session. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) arrived instead of Abby, needing to talk.
They discussed Abby, and after she left, Marlena couldn’t find her glasses and realized she had made the appointment with Dr. Laura – and was duped!
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) tried to get Dr. Laura to let Gabigail out, and when his pleas worked, Gabigail immediately kissed Stefan. They agreed to get a hotel room but then Dr. Laura tried to get out so Gabigail suggested his room but he said it was a bad idea. She then revealed that Abigail has been out since Hong Kong.
Gabigail also told Stefan that Marlena said she has something called DID.
Stefan warned that Marlena will try to integrate them.
They realized that Abby was supposed to be at the office right then so Stefan told her to call and make up an excuse – but Marlena overheard and said to tell her to her face.

Freedom or Prison?
Gabi (Camila Banus) was found guilty of murder and freaked out. The judge said he would pass a sentence in one month. Justin (Wally Kurth) asked for to be allowed out with a monitor bracelet until sentencing but Trask argued against it, and the judge agreed.
Trask also said she wanted her at Stateville. Justin tried to object but the judge agreed with Trask. Gabi couldn’t believe she was found guilty but Chad (Billy Flynn) and Rafe tried to tell her they won’t give up on her. Chad told Gabi that Abby hasn’t been the same since Hong Kong, but he promised to figure out.
On A Mission
Vivian (Louise Sorel) visited Victor (John Aniston) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and claimed to be there to bury the hatchet. However, neither bought her story.
Questionable Future
Sonny (Freddie Smith) was shocked to learn Leo (Greg Rikaart) works at Titan and for the CEO. He then became suspicious and told Leo he’d better fess up. He then admitted he knew who he was. Leo hoped it wouldn’t change anything but Sonny fired him.
Leo tried to talk him out of it, and Sonny said only if he quit. Leo told him how hard he worked for it, but Sonny insisted they can’t see each other if he works for him. Leo chose keeping the job.
