The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, March 22 features Lani unable to hold onto the truth any longer as she breaks down on the stand and admits she slept with Eli.
Day of Reckoning
Gabi (Camila Banus) leaned on Rafe (Galen Gering) before her court appearance. Meanwhile, Eli (Lamon Archey) let Lani (Sal Stowers) know he’s having second thoughts about letting JJ (Casey Moss) be his baby’s father.
Taking A Stand
Justin (Wally Kurth) was there as Gabi’s lawyer and Trask’s opening statement was inflammatory. Justin did his best to combat it. Rafe was called to the stand first and established that Anna was still a viable suspect. Next up was Eli, who said no one could prove it was Gabi on the footage.
Lani was next on the stand. Her testimony was damning so Justin asked for help from Gabi in how to discredit her. She remained mum but he still went after her. Lani slipped that Gabi might think she owed her. Justin asked why and Lani spilled that she slept with her boyfriend.
Moving Forward
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) met with Belle (Martha Madison) about an annulment when they spotted Chad (Billy Flynn).

Belle warned him how it could look to Abigail. After Belle left, Chad asked Hope to be an extra pair of eyes and she agreed. When Belle returned, both women convinced him to go see Abby.
Alternate Life
Gabigail (Marci Miller) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) settled in Hong Kong in adjoining rooms. Stefan headed for his room but Gabigail asked him to stay. They opened up to each other about how they feel about their identities.
Sparks started to fly as she tried to get him to loosen up. As Chad knocked on her door, they were downstairs having dinner — and Hope spotted them, or at least she saw Stefan.
