The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, November 10 features Sonny learning something shocking about Will, and JJ screwing up in a big way.
Birthday Shocker
Lani (Sal Stowers) thought her birthday celebration was ruined when JJ (Casey Moss) wanted to respond to a break-in call. But when they got there, it turned out to be a surprise birthday party, courtesy of JJ. After the party, they made love, and JJ finally told Lani that he loves her.
He was about to give her a gift when he got a work call. There was a real break-in this time, by the docks, and they headed off to find out more. They found a hooded man (Theo) and when they told him to freeze, they chased after him. When JJ caught up with him, he told him to drop the gun. Theo didn’t and turned – causing JJ to shoot him.
Walk With Danger
Theo (Kyler Pettis) was there was because Kate (Lauren Koslow) was desperate to find out who was undermining her and DiMera. She had let Theo know that she was open to him breaking into the building to check out the server.
Paul (Christopher Sean) was again stalking Will (Chandler Massey) at the bar when Sonny (Freddie Smith) called, asking for him.
Paul left Will without talking to him and headed to see Sonny. When he got there, Sonny said he wanted to marry him.

A distraught Paul turned him down and blurted that Will’s alive. Sonny was livid and rebuffed Paul’s apology, gave him back his ring, and said he’ll find Will himself – and does!
Where There’s a Will…
Rafe (Galen Gering) did as Sami (Alison Sweeney) asked and arranged to have Will’s grave exhumed. They learned there was no body in there so Sami wanted to immediately confront Susan (Eileen Davidson).
Rafe talked her out of it since it could land her in jail – but said he could talk with her. They headed for Memphis, and Sami went straight to Sonny’s hospital room looking for him – but she found a devastated Paul.
